Our Story
Snowberry Floral Co is a collaboration & partnership between two likeminded florist souls - Heidi Mehok & Heather O’Day.
We came together with the aim of using flowers to tell your personal story for each of our client’s events.
We want your arrangements to be as wild & beautiful as your love is!
HEIDI MEHOK
FLORIST / CO-OWNER
Heidi Mehok knew she wanted to be an artist from a young age. She studied several mediums of art in college and received an art degree with a focus in drawing and a minor in environmental science from the University of Colorado at Denver. She soon realized after college that she really wanted to get her hands dirty and combine her love of all things nature with her eye for design. Heidi was lucky enough to have had the opportunity to study floral design and tropical plants while living in the paradise that is Hawaii for a year after college. She has continued down the path of floral and botanical artistry since moving back to Colorado making for roughly 20 years of experience.
Sustainability is a driving force in honoring and coexisting with nature to her and can be seen in all aspects of her life. At home, permaculture farming is one her main hobbies as she grows as much as her small urban plot will allow.
She is aided in this endeavor by her extremely supportive partner, two babes and more pets than we can keep track of.
HEATHER o’Day
FLORIST / CO-OWNER
Heather first got the seed of a career in the floral industry from an aptitude test in high school. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture/ Business from CSU. She has worked as a Floral Designer, Flower Department buyer, retail , wedding and event designer for over 20 years. She is certified as a Certified Professional Florist (CPF).
Heather is a Colorado native and loves spending time outdoors and finding inspiration in nature with her husband, children and dogs.
Her greatest passion is representing emotion through flowers for all of life’s events and occasions.
